Early Stage Company Service – Practical Partnership

We provide a series of practical actions and hands-on work to ready early-stage companies for effective and profitable operations now, and to ensure future-readiness for growth, scaling and potential external funding or acquisition.

How:

  • With you, we put in place the people, processes, and priorities to get your company going or stay growing; to have the systems and records required by your or external investment; along with the confidence to assess and optimise your startup or scaleup company. Practical, hands-on, delivering the actions and executing the strategy, together.

Rationale:

  • Our experience is that early stage companies struggle to put in place the foundation practices, processes, tools, operations, to support delivery on potential. Doing so early avoids the pain of retro-fitting later, and missing the opportunities to run efficient operations, have insights to hand, and make steps like due diligence a less painful process.
  • Many companies have great ideas, but fail on the delivery. We support companies so they are less prone to failure, and can draw on our ‘proven founder’ experience – which in essence is about involving people who know how to put operations in place, and deliver an action programme aligned to strategy, with the founders.
  • This service seeks to package knowhow, tools, templates, advisory expertise to avoid failure and maximise likelihood of success. By putting in place practices and processes from the start, they are easy to adopt and benefits arise from the start.
  • We support the lifeblood of a company – creating sales and revenue, through to supporting fund raising & acquisitions where appropriate.
  • As an option we can provide supplementary technology and IT resources (including a trusted Ireland/Portugal-based team), or work with your existing service providers or team.
  • We accept that the early-stage founder or founders are quite often working on their own and would benefit from access to external input, sounding boards, strategy and operations development and blending.
